Aug 10, 2018 ยท Hey all--we have a 2010 CX-7. Our turbo went out about a year ago at 84,000 miles, and we got it replaced at the dealer. We brought it back to the dealer for an oil change about a week ago and oil was low. After a test, they are saying there is blow-by on several cylinders and will need a new engine. As the oil line is critical to the health of the turbo, the oil line should be replaced or at minimum ultrasonically cleaned. This seems to be a particular requirement for the CX7 2.3L. The above outlines some Mazda CX7 turbo problems, and some ways to help prevent the issue re-occurring.

Problem Description A lack of power may develop due to a failed turbocharger. Failed turbochargers will require replacement to restore engine power. 313 people reported this problem 133 comments Mazda CX-7 Vehicles With This Problem 6 model years affected 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, view all Average mileage: 92,834 (15,500โ€“177,000)
