I undid a side of the box and sewed again separately the two sides (with red thread, of course) to make room for the EVF. The Nikon Coolpix P1000 will be available in September for $999. Official samples. The Nikon 1 system is essentially dead but it had/has a waterproof body that should still work for quite a while (don't know much about water-resistance of the Sigma 300-800 mm f/5.6).
